Job summary

Brampton Recruitment Ltd is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our technical team. You will act as a 2nd/3rd line escalation point, resolve issues on-site and remotely, and maintain servers, networks and security appliances for diverse client environments.

The role requires strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper‑V and Azure, with a proactive, customer‑facing approach. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in 2nd/3rd line IT support (on-site preferred).
• Strong practical knowledge of M365, Windows Server, AD, Hyper‑V and Azure administration.
• Experience supporting servers, backups and network infrastructure.
• Good understanding of networking, security and patch management.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as 2nd/3rd Line escalation for issues from 1st Line Support.
• Attend customer sites to resolve problems and perform proactive maintenance.
• Monitor server and backup systems, investigate alerts and resolve issues.
• Install, configure and maintain LAN/WAN networks, servers, firewalls and security gear.
• Administer M365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper‑V and Azure environments.
