Job summary

VIQU Limited in Manchester is seeking an IT Support Engineer for a 6-month contract to manage BAU workload and provide 1st and 2nd line support across hardware, software, infrastructure and networks.

The role requires experience with Windows 10/11, Office 365 and Intune, Active Directory, and a proactive, service-oriented approach. On-site work five days a week in Manchester within a dynamic, creative tech environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware issues.
• Must understand Windows 10/11 operating system - Administration and support
• Microsoft Stack including Office 365 and Intune - Administration and support
• Active Directory - Administration and management
• Using ticketing system to respond to portal requests - User support
• Experience in a creative environment within the Gaming / Film / TV sector is very desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to end users across hardware, software, Infrastructure and network.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to M365, Active Directory and Windows 11.
• Own hardware incidents from diagnosis through repair or replacement.
• Own the process end to end with Joiners Movers Leavers within the business.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and troubleshooting issues.
• Contribute to technology updates and develop ITIL best practices.
• Providing support with additional IT projects.

The ideal candidate will be personable with a professional passion for providing high quality IT support services with specific knowledge on high spec hardware while providing a flexible approach to a wide range of IT related tasks.
