Job summary

Adria Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join its Bristol IT Services team. The role covers support across Microsoft 365, business applications and workplace tech, with hybrid working options and opportunities to improve systems and processes.

You will provide responsive, customer-focused support across hardware, software and user accounts, ensuring tickets progress to resolution and users stay productive.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in IT and application support, including two years providing second-line support.
• Strong practical knowledge of Active Directory administration, Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting laptop hardware.
• Confidence using a ticket-based helpdesk system.
• Experience supporting video conferencing and meeting room equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage helpdesk tickets, investigate issues and keep users informed.
• Support Windows 11 laptops, docking stations, monitors and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications and internal business systems.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID accounts, including joiners and leavers.
• Manage Exchange Online distribution lists and Microsoft Teams groups.
• Support corporate iPhones and access to business resources on personal devices.
• Investigate network connectivity and meeting room technology issues.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and deliver IT inductions.
• Assist with equipment deployments, office projects and technology upgrades.
• Provide initial investigation of issues affecting automated processes.
• Maintain helpdesk categories and supporting phishing awareness tools.

IT Support Engineer - Bristol

Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer who enjoys solving technical problems and helping people get the most from their technology?

An established professional services firm is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join its IT Services team in Bristol. You’ll support colleagues across Microsoft 365, business applications and workplace technology, combining day-to-day troubleshooting with opportunities to improve systems and processes.

The role

You’ll provide responsive, customer-focused support across hardware, software and user accounts, helping colleagues work effectively and keeping support requests moving through to resolution.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing helpdesk tickets, investigating issues and keeping users informed.

You’ll be organised, approachable and confident supporting users with different levels of technical knowledge. You’ll enjoy troubleshooting, take ownership of issues and communicate clearly throughout.

We’re looking for:

• At least three years’ experience in IT and application support, including two years providing second-line support.
• Strong practical knowledge of Active Directory administration, Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting laptop hardware.
