Job summary

Harvey Nash Group is seeking an IT Support Engineer (1st/2nd line) for Lancashire on-site to join a client on a 3-month contract inside IR35. The role focuses on day-to-day technical support and issue resolution within a fast-paced environment.

You will handle Windows Server/AD, M365, and basic networking, requiring on-site presence five days a week. Local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Support for Microsoft 365 users and common M365 issues.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls).
• Installing and configuring computer hardware and software; primary IT support contact.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st/2nd line IT support to users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents on-site in Lancashire.

Harvey Nash is working exclusively with a leading client in Lancashire, who are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support professional to join the team on an initial 3-month contract inside IR35.

Requirements

1. Windows Server and Active Directory administration
2. Supporting Microsoft 365 users and resolving common M365 issues.
3. Networking technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Firewalls)
4. Installing and configuring computer hardware and software and being a primary point of contact for IT support.
