Job summary

Park's Motor Group in Scotland is seeking an enthusiastic IT apprentice to join our technical IT team for a 1-year program and to commence 1st line support for customers. You will be supported by experienced colleagues as you learn about the products and services Park’s Motor Group provides.

This apprenticeship leads toward a QA diploma, with guidance and mentoring throughout the placement, and a structured path to develop hands-on IT and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 1-year apprenticeship training toward a diploma with QA.
• 1st line IT support responsibilities for customers.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Answer and log IT support calls from users.
• Provide 1st line support to our users.
• Provide excellent customer service both verbal and written to end users.
• Keep users up to date on progress of their calls.
• Problem solve issues based on the information you have been given.
• Resolve IT queries efficiently, accurately and record information.
• Assist in configuration and installation of IT hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, switches etc.).
• Work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
