Job summary

Vertas Group is hiring an IT Support Analyst based at the Ipswich office to provide frontline IT support across the group. You will be the first point of contact for incidents and assist with onboarding, Microsoft 365, Windows devices, and business applications.

Join a collaborative IT team, work with third-party suppliers to ensure service excellence, support cyber security initiatives, and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement while growing your technical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support or Service Desk role or strong technical aptitude.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A willingness to learn, develop, and grow technical skills.
• A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of problems.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT support queries and incidents.
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows, laptops, mobile devices and business applications.
• Support users with onboarding, account setup, and IT inductions.
• Configure and deploy laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues.
• Support cyber security activities and help colleagues work securely.
• Work with colleagues and third-party suppliers to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the IT team.
• Identify opportunities to improve the experience we provide to our users.
