IT Support Analyst

Full Time | Office Based | City of London

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Crone Corkill is assisting a financial client in recruiting a personable 1st/2nd Line focused IT Support Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience with VMware, O365, and AD, and will work within a close-knit team to advance the IT function.

This is an office-based role requiring presence in their City office 5 days a week. Candidates without relevant experience in the financial or banking industry are unlikely to be considered.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Analyst include:

• Serving as the first point of contact for IT issues, providing excellent customer service and escalating issues when necessary
• Connecting virtual computers, allocating VMs, and performing maintenance and technical configurations according to training and documented procedures
• Providing technical support for setting up telephones, voice recordings, meeting rooms, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and scanners
• Handling full desktop setups and applications for new joiners, movers, and leavers
• Conducting maintenance, installations, and support for VDI workstations, PCs, and laptops
• Maintaining desktop equipment including monitors, zero/thin client devices, and phones
• Ordering and maintaining stock of IT equipment
• Maintaining IT storage areas, ensuring they are organized, accessible, and items are logged

Required skills and experience:

• Experience providing 1st/2nd Line Support within the financial or banking industry
• Knowledge of VMware (Horizon desirable)
• Experience with Active Directory/EntraID
• O365 administration skills
• Proficiency with Windows (2019, 2016, Azure Cloud)
• Experience with hardware and software builds
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of telecom systems (Mitel), home working solutions, and MFA
