XMA in Reading or Nottingham (Hybrid) is seeking a personable Service Solutions Consultant with a background in IT services to join a customer-facing, pre-sales team. You’ll work with Solution Architects, Sales and Service Delivery to develop managed service solutions, prepare quotations, and present service offerings to customers.

You’ll translate customer needs into practical solutions, coordinate internal inputs to ensure accurate proposals within deadlines, and help with pricing activities

Competenze

• Experience in IT support, infrastructure, service delivery or related technical role.
• A good understanding of how IT support and managed services are delivered.
• Confidence communicating with customers, building relationships and presenting information clearly.
• A personable approach, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of the importance of delivering practical, cost-effective solutions.
• A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in developing your career within pre-sales and service solutions.

Mansioni

• Participate in customer meetings, confidently presenting and explaining managed and professional service offerings.
• Lead initial customer discovery discussions, asking the right questions to understand requirements, challenges and priorities.
• Translate customer needs into practical service solutions that align with the organisation's capabilities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Work collaboratively with Solution Architects, Sales, Account Management and technical specialists on customer opportunities.
• Coordinate internal contributions to proposals, ensuring responses are accurate, consistent and delivered within deadlines.
• Support pricing activities, ensuring proposed services are commercially sound and deliverable.
• Maintain accurate documentation of requirements, assumptions, scope and customer commitments.
• Build your knowledge of managed services, service design and pre-sales, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility over time.
