Job summary

Alzheimer Scotland is the national dementia charity in Scotland. We are seeking an IT support professional to be the first point of contact for staff and volunteers, providing service desk assistance and practical troubleshooting.

You will work with Windows PC support, Windows Server, IT networking, applications support and cybersecurity, supporting the wider IT team on new systems and projects. The role is office-based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, with occasional travel across Scotland to provide

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering first-line IT support to staff and volunteers.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• IT certifications and/or HNC or equivalent level training.
• Experience on an IT service desk is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT support via the service desk.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to keep systems running.
• Assist the wider IT team with new systems and projects.
• Occasional travel within Scotland to support offices.
