Job summary

Alzheimer Scotland in Glasgow is seeking a Day Services Practitioner to support people under 65 living with dementia in their homes and the community. You will deliver person-centred therapeutic activities and work with the Day Services Manager to ensure safe, high-quality support aligned with standards.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, participate in audits, and collaborate with the wider team to meet the charity’s vision and the Health and Social Care standards.

Qualifications

• Good understanding and/or experience of working with people living with dementia.
• Understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards and SSSC codes of practice.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
• Proof of right to work in the UK and PVG check through Disclosure Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Support people under 65 living with dementia at home and in the community.
• Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, resources and activities.
• Work with the Day Services Manager to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred support.
• Participate in internal audits and Care Inspectorate inspections as required.
• Collaborate with the wider team to meet quality frameworks and outcomes.
