Job summary

Alzheimer Scotland is seeking an IT service desk professional to be the first point of contact for staff and volunteers. You will troubleshoot IT issues, support the IT team on new systems and projects, and travel occasionally across Scotland to provide on-site support.

The role is based in Edinburgh or Glasgow with office-based work. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for technology, and IT certification or an equivalent qualification.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and passion for technology.
• Eager to help others and build rapport with staff and volunteers.
• IT certification and/or HNC level training requested; prior IT service desk experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for staff and volunteers via the IT service desk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues to keep systems running smoothly.
• Support the wider IT team with new systems and technical projects.
• Occasional travel across Scotland to provide support; office-based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
