Job summary

Cadent is seeking a Service Request & Asset Management Analyst in Coventry to help ensure IT services are efficient, governed and aligned to business needs. You will manage service requests, maintain data across the CMDB and service catalogue, and deliver insights that support performance.

This varied role combines service management, data analysis and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with IT teams, partners and stakeholders to enhance user experience and maintain accurate records,

Qualifications

• Experience working within an IT service environment.
• Understanding of IT Service Management principles and best practice
• Hands-on experience using ServiceNow, including service request management, ticket handling, reporting and service catalogue processes
• Knowledge of ITIL disciplines is desirable
• Experience identifying service trends and analysing operational data
• Ability to produce meaningful reports and service insights
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience working with Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs)
• Understanding of the importance of asset visibility and service mapping
• Ability to support audits and maintain data quality standards
• Experience maintaining service and asset records within ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into business-friendly language
• Experience working with multiple teams, suppliers and stakeholders
• Customer-focused approach to service delivery
• Passion for improving processes and service outcomes
• Ability to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency
• Experience supporting organisational change and service improvements
