Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking an experienced operational risk and controls professional to join the UK General Insurance Risk & Governance team as a Business Partner (Risk and Controls).

You will lead on strengthening IT risk management and control practices across the business, delivering risk assessments, control testing, assurance activities and remediation actions while collaborating with stakeholders to improve control effectiveness, meet regulatory requirements and support operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Understanding IT risk principles and governance
• Experience with risk/control activities in a regulated environment (insurance preferred)
• Experience supporting risk/control management through periods of organisational change
• Strong stakeholder engagement across teams and levels of seniority

Responsibilities

• Strengthen IT risk management and control practices across the business.
• Deliver risk assessments, control testing, assurance activities and remediation actions.
