Job summary

Aviva is recruiting a Governance & Assurance Business Partner to bolster the first line risk function within Personal Lines Insurance. The role focuses on strengthening risk and control environments, supporting event management, and delivering root-cause analysis across Partnerships and Broker channels.

You will engage with stakeholders, drive improvements, and participate in wider team initiatives, all while contributing to good customer outcomes and regulatory risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Risk Management principles and governance requirements.
• Experience in regulated environments, ideally with insurance background.
• Ability to influence across multiple teams and seniority levels.
• Analytical skills to identify root causes and drive resolution.
• Experience implementing process improvements and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Support first line risk and governance to meet Operational Risk and Control Management Framework.
• Facilitate risk event management and internal governance across partnerships and broker channels.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and thematic reviews to understand failures.
• Contribute to improvement projects and strategic initiatives across the team.
