Job summary

Aviva Investors is seeking an Operational Controls Oversight Manager to join the Controls Oversight & Assurance team in the COO function, based in Norwich. The role focuses on strengthening governance, controls, and the global first line risk framework across Operations, Transformation, and IT.

You will work with business leaders and risk teams to deliver meaningful MI, oversight, and remediation of control issues while supporting colleagues and managing competing priorities in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management or regulated financial services.
• Strong MI and data analysis skills; comfortable with Excel and large datasets.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across different business areas and levels of seniority.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with track record of meeting deadlines.
• Experience in governance, risk management, controls oversight, controls testing or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Drive a strong risk and controls environment across Aviva Investors.
• Provide meaningful management information and governance oversight; support risk identification, assessment and remediation.
• Influence improvements in control effectiveness and data quality.
• Contribute to senior governance forums and reporting deadlines.
• Develop colleagues while balancing strategic priorities and delivery deadlines.
