Excited to partner with a global financial services organization recruiting an IT Procurement Manager responsible for sourcing IT and IS/Software services in the UK and EMEA. The focus will be on managed services, service integrations, testing, hardware, and SaaS. The role includes delivering strategic projects with the delivery team to support business functions such as commercial, data, and new site openings. Collaboration with stakeholders across IT, Finance, HR, and Legal is essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

1. Maintain and update market insights regarding the IT & IS marketplace, including best practices, trends, and key suppliers.
2. Work proactively with stakeholders to generate initiatives that improve operational and commercial efficiency.
3. Develop documented category strategy plans in collaboration with senior stakeholders covering a three-year horizon.
4. Maintain a rolling sourcing plan that includes stakeholder initiatives, procurement activities, and contract renewals.
5. Understand the commercial IT environment broadly.
6. Determine appropriate approaches to market, such as single-stage RFP or two-stage RFI/RFP.
7. Develop RFI and RFP documentation and ensure confidentiality agreements are signed.
8. Lead supplier review meetings with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.
9. Manage contracts to meet KPIs and targets, ensuring information security and acting as a liaison with suppliers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT/Tech procurement experience.
• Credibility with executives, senior stakeholders, and key suppliers.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the IT team and broader organization.
• Experience managing new contracts and renewals.
• Proven ability to deliver strategic IT projects.
• Capability to develop and execute category strategies for sub-categories.
