Job summary

Rheinmetall Electronics UK Ltd (REUK) is seeking an experienced IT Operations Support role in Bristol. You will be the primary face-to-face contact for 1st/2nd line IT support, delivering inductions for new starters, and provisioning client machines and peripherals.

You will work under the Head of IT, supporting Windows clients, Windows Server with Hyper-V, and MS365 apps, while upholding REUK IT policies in a secure environment and coordinating with Cyber Security efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support to Windows clients.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server with Hyper-V.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 (MS365).
• Setup and configuration of Windows clients including domain joining.
• Experience working in a secure environment with Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a defence sector context and communicate with business contacts.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support in the Bristol office.
• Handle 1st/2nd line support with face-to-face interactions.
• Manage IT inductions for new starters.
• Provide new client machines and peripherals.
• Ensure compliance with REUK IT policies; coordinate with Cyber Security Officer.
• Assist with cyber security training and cyber-attack simulations.
• Monitor tickets and ensure timely responses.
• Maintain stock records of IT assets.
