Job summary

Client Server Ltd. in London is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Linux/Windows) to join a small team and support a mixed on‑premise IT environment. The role covers 1st‑3rd line support, infrastructure, networking, hardware and software, delivering reliable, secure technology.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot complex issues, maintain core systems and work closely with a manager to drive improvements in a pragmatic, collaborative way. London / WFH options available.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Linux OS and good knowledge of Windows.
• Strong understanding of networking and hardware.
• Experience across 1st to 3rd line technical support and troubleshooting.
• Good working knowledge of security best practices.
• You're collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• As an Infrastructure Engineer you will support and improve a mixed on-premise IT environment across Linux and Windows.
• Working within a small team of three engineers plus a manager, you'll have a broad remit spanning 1st-3rd line support, infrastructure, networking, hardware and software.
• You'll troubleshoot complex issues, maintain core systems and help drive improvements across the environment, taking a pragmatic approach to delivering reliable and secure technology.
