Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking an IT Lead to be the primary IT representative for the Hull Blade Factory. You will balance strategic stakeholder engagement with hands-on operational leadership, supporting production-critical systems and driving continuous improvement across IT services and digital initiatives.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, HSE, Digitalisation and Connected Factory teams to deliver technology-enabled operations with minimal disruption to

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading IT service delivery in large industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience managing IT support teams, vendors, or service partners.
• Strong stakeholder management across operations and leadership teams.
• Solid ITIL knowledge including Incident, Problem, Change and Escalation Management.
• Experience delivering IT infrastructure, workplace tech, cybersecurity, or digital transformation projects.
• Knowledge of end-user computing, Microsoft 365, networking and IAM, cyber principles.
• Experience with manufacturing systems, factory tech, or OT environments.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and project coordination skills.
• Ability to influence across organisational boundaries with regional/global IT teams.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT contact for Hull Blade Factory and engage with site leadership.
• Lead the delivery of onsite IT services and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Manage incidents, problems, service requests and escalations with timely resolution.
• Represent site requirements within regional and global IT forums.
• Provide leadership and development for local IT support resources and external partners.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, HSE, Digitalisation and Connected Factory teams.
• Coordinate infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation projects.
• Drive continuous improvement of IT services, processes and user experience.
• Support production-critical systems and OT dependencies.
• Escalation point during major incidents and support business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, governance and service management standards.
