Job summary

Meridian Trust is seeking a 1st Line IT Technician to join our expanding team. You will deliver high-quality IT support to staff and students, log tickets, and provide remote assistance from the helpdesk.

The role requires GCSEs in English and Maths, IT qualifications or equivalent experience, and solid troubleshooting and hardware knowledge. A 37-hour week with a Grade 4 Point 3 salary is offered, along with a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths required
• IT qualifications or equivalent experience
• Experience with IT troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of PC hardware
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems
• Professional conduct with colleagues and customers

Responsibilities

• Provide IT assistance to users contacting the helpdesk and deliver remote support
• Record all tasks in the Helpdesk system and manage tickets
• Maintain ICT equipment across schools and the Trust
• Visit partner schools for IT maintenance and support and assist other Academy teams as needed
