Job summary

Istituto Marangoni London is seeking an IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide first-line IT support for staff, students and lecturers across macOS and Windows devices. You will deploy new devices, manage MDM and Intune, and support Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows and Apple macOS devices.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Microsoft Intune.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and support computer hardware, OS and applications (macOS and Windows).
• Build and deploy devices for new starters and replacements.
• Support device management using Intune, Apple Business Manager and MDM.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Create and maintain user accounts, permissions and licences.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and peripherals; liaise with suppliers as needed.
• Support wired/wireless networking, printers and classroom tech.
• Assist with IT asset records and equipment lifecycle management.
• Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Provide remote and face-to-face user training and guidance.
