Job summary

Synergi Tech Ltd in Lincoln is seeking an IT Engineer to deploy and support core network infrastructure, Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 for clients across the East Midlands and Yorkshire.

You will travel regularly to client sites, install UniFi systems, CCTV and access control, and maintain project documentation while upholding company standards. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in MSP/IT support/field-based engineering.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, firewall basics).
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Ability to work independently on client sites and follow documented standards.
• Professional communication and strong customer-facing approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

About The Role

Synergi Tech is a professional, growth-focused IT Managed Service Provider based in Lincoln. We deliver structured, high-standard IT infrastructure and support services across the East Midlands and Yorkshire.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Deploy and configure core network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Install and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Assist with infrastructure refreshes, hardware rollouts, and site upgrades
• Deliver on-site troubleshooting and support to clients in live business environments
• Install UniFi systems and assist with CCTV and access control installations where required
• Maintain accurate project and support documentation to company standards
• Represent Synergi Tech professionally on all client sites

Travel & Working Expectations

• Regular travel across East Midlands and Yorkshire
• Occasional UK-wide travel for larger projects
• Overnight stays may be required for multi-day deployments
• Company vehicle and fuel card provided
• All approved travel and accommodation expenses covered

Office-Based Contribution

Required Skills And Experience

• Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, networking, etc.)
