Education Support Professionals Ltd. is seeking an IT Engineer in Reading to provide 1st and 2nd line support and to manage Microsoft 365 and device deployment. You will work within an established in-house IT team at a large independent school, developing skills across the broader infrastructure and IT projects.

The role emphasizes practical Windows troubleshooting, AD/Entra ID/Intune administration and ongoing system upgrades, with carers for safeguarding a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support in a Windows environment.
• Comfort with troubleshooting across hardware, software and networks.
• Interest in broadening technical skills within a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff and students.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
• Manage users, groups and devices via AD, Entra ID and Intune.
• Deploy and configure laptops, desktops and tablets.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and Wi-Fi issues.
• Assist with server and infrastructure administration.
• Support system maintenance, updates and patching.
• Contribute to IT projects and device deployments.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers to resolve issues.
