Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Limited is seeking an IT Coach / Assessor for a remote, permanent role with occasional travel for team meetings. You will coach and assess learners on Level 3 ICT Apprenticeships, with emphasis on IT support techniques and End Point Assessment readiness.

The ideal candidate holds an assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) or a Level 3 Teaching qualification, plus a Level 4+ ICT qualification and practical industry experience.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or assessing learners on Level 3 ICT Apprenticeships.
• Hold an Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) and/or Level 3 Teaching qualification.
• Must hold an ICT qualification Level 4 or above and have occupational experience relevant to delivery.
• Experience preparing learners for End Point Assessment.
• Excellent IT skills and confident with IT and online systems.
• Flexible with travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coach learners undertaking their Level 3 ICT Apprenticeship.
• Embed Functional Skills Maths and English in delivery.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify learner needs and interventions.
• Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews are conducted.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Work to learner review and completion timescales, ensuring readiness for end point assessment.

Essential Criteria To Apply;

• The successful candidate must have experiencecoaching or assessing learners working towards ICT Apprenticeships at Level 3 (ideally IT Support Technician).

• Hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) and/or a Level 3 Teaching qualification or above.

• Must hold a relevant ICT qualification (Level 4 or above) and occupational experience appropriate to the level being delivered.

• Experience of preparing learners for End Point Assessment.

• Excellent IT skills and confidentwith the use of IT and online systems.

• Must be flexible with travel as required.

Duties:
