Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Limited is seeking an IT Coach/Assessor to deliver Level 3 ICT Apprenticeships remotely, with limited travel for team meetings. You will assess, coach and support learners, embedding Maths and English Functional Skills, and ensuring readiness for End Point Assessment.

You'll possess an Assessor award and a Level 4+ ICT qualification with strong IT skills and experience in online systems. Travel requirements are limited but essential as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or assessing learners for ICT Apprenticeships at Level 3.
• Hold an Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) and/or Level 3 Teaching qualification.
• Must hold a Level 4+ ICT qualification and occupational experience.
• Experience preparing learners for End Point Assessment.
• Excellent IT skills and comfortable with using IT and online systems.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coach learners undertaking their Level 3 ICT Apprenticeship.
• Embed Functional Skills Maths and English in delivery.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify learner needs and interventions.
• Manage your diary to ensure timely reviews.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to learner needs.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Ensure readiness for End Point Assessment.

Job Title:IT Coach / Assessor
Location:Remote working – with very limited travel for team meetings

Salary:up to £45,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria To Apply;

• The successful candidate must have experiencecoaching or assessing learners working towards ICT Apprenticeships at Level 3 (ideally IT Support Technician).

• Hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) and/or a Level 3 Teaching qualification or above.

• Must hold a relevant ICT qualification (Level 4 or above) and occupational experience appropriate to the level being delivered.

• Experience of preparing learners for End Point Assessment.

• Excellent IT skills and confidentwith the use of IT and online systems.

• Must be flexible with travel as required.

Duties:

• Assess and coach learners who are undertaking their Level 3 ICT Apprenticeship.

• Embed Functional Skills Maths and English in to delivery.

• Conduct initial andongoing assessments, to ensure learner needs are identified and any targeted interventions are put in to place.

• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timelyreviews are conducted.

• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Work to learner review and completion timescales, ensuring readiness for end point assessment
