Job summary

Gist is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to shape and deliver technical change across Corporate Functions, including People, Finance and Health, Safety & Sustainability. You will translate business priorities into clear requirements and measurable outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of Product for Corporate Systems, you will work with stakeholders to identify improvements, map processes and support design, testing and implementation.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to help shape and deliver technical change across our corporate functions, including People, Finance, and Health, Safety & Sustainability.

Working closely with business stakeholders, product, technology, change, data and third-party partners, this role will see you turn business priorities and challenges into clear requirements, practical solutions and measurable outcomes.

You will bring structure to complexity where you will understand what the business needs, challenging assumptions, mapping processes and making sure technology change delivers real value.

What you'll be doing

Reporting into the Head of Product for Corporate Systems you will work with stakeholders to understand priorities, pain points and opportunities, translating them into clear business and technical requirements. You will analyse current and future processes, identify improvements and support solution design, testing and implementation.

Within this role you will also work closely with technology, data, architecture, security and suppliers to ensure solutions are practical, compliant and aligned to business needs. From defining acceptance criteria, supporting UAT through to maintaining requirements traceability and supporting BAU handover, you will help make sure change is delivered successfully.

What we're looking for

To be successful in your application you will be an experienced Business Analyst who is confident working across business and technology teams, comfortable bringing clarity to complex problems. You will have proven experience of delivering or supporting sizable and high value projects with strong requirements and process analysis skills, and the ability to facilitate workshops, challenge constructively and bring stakeholders together to define clear outcomes.

You will be a confident communicator and problem solver, able to translate business needs into practical technical requirements and explain technical impacts in clear business language. Experience working across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid environments will be valuable, as will an understanding of how technology enables change across functions such as HR, Finance or other Corporate Services.

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience in a FMCG or logistics and supply chain environment
• Exposure to enterprise platforms such as SAP ECC, S4 HANA, HCM or MS 365
• Experience of working in a regulatory or compliance driven environment such as payroll, finance, or health, safety and environmental.
• Exposure of working within a broader programme or portfolio structure.

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum
Hours:Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Location:This role will be based from our Head Office in Chineham, but you will also have the opportunity to work hybrid either from home or other locations. Applicants much be able to commit being present in Chineham 2-3 days a week.
