Job summary

Computacenter PLC is hiring for an IT Asset Management specialist to support SACM practices across hardware and software assets. You will maintain CMDB accuracy, perform asset tracking, and prepare utilisation and cost reports while driving compliance and cost control.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in IT Asset Management or a related role.
• Experience with ITSM management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Remedy, Snow/Flexara).
• Good understanding of SACM, ITAM and inventory best practices.
• Awareness of software licensing models (e.g. Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain or hold UK Government Security Clearance.

You'll be part of a growing IT Operations team where accurate asset data underpins effective decision-making, compliance, and cost control. Working closely with technical teams, service management, and key stakeholders, you'll help ensure IT assets are well managed, visible, and delivering value throughout their lifecycle. What you'll do
