BEECH HILL PRIMARY SCHOOL in Luton invites applications for an IT Apprentice to join our team. The 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year role offers on-the-job training while you study for the Level 3 IT Technician qualification, gaining practical experience and a supportive environment for developing IT and digital media skills with pupils.

The successful candidate will be passionate about IT, eager to learn, and able to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

  • Be passionate about IT & Digital Media.
  • Have high expectations for children’s achievement and behaviour.
  • Assist with the delivery of extra curriculum/lunchtime activities.
  • Ideal candidates should have 5 GCSEs 4+ including English and Maths or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with IT/apprentice tasks and support the school’s IT needs.
  • Support lunchtime and after-school activities.
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment for pupils.

We are looking to appoint and support a motivational and committed IT Apprentice to work with us as part of our team for the benefit of our pupils. The successful candidate will be supported by us whilst completing their qualification, and gaining valuable experience.

Beech Hill Primary School serves a wonderfully diverse, multi-cultural community. A School with Strong Standards with Expected elements rated by Ofsted in February 2026. We are committed to improving attainment and have designed a curriculum to motivate, challenge and engage our pupils’ in a well-resourced environment.
