Job summary
John Ruskin College in Croydon and Redhill is seeking an experienced IT 2nd Line Support Technician to join our forward-thinking IT team. You will provide advanced technical support across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows Server, Active Directory and network infrastructure, helping staff and students stay productive and secure.
You will act as escalation point for complex issues, contribute to IT projects, cybersecurity initiatives and service improvements, while delivering a proactive,
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a 2nd Line IT Support role.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID.
- Knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and enterprise network infrastructure.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Escalation point for complex technical issues across multiple technologies.
- Support Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows Server, AD/Entra ID and endpoint management.
- Contribute to IT projects, cybersecurity initiatives and service improvements.
- Assist with device management and staff/student technical requests.
