Newhouse Academy is looking for a candidate who is, as we describe, one of "Our People". We appoint on character over talent alone, believing that we can always learn new skills. Self‑reflection is important, as is being a team player and understanding the importance of our values.
The improvements made by the academy in recent times have been achieved by working together towards our vision and by looking after our biggest asset, our staff. The Isolation Room is a prime example of this, whereby through high expectations, consistent and positive application of school policy and by supporting each other, we operate a calm and purposeful isolation room, where students know, understand and comply with our expectations.

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term time only
Salary: NJC Grade 5 Scale Points 12 to 18
Starting scale point is dependent on experience.
Actual salary £21,293 to £23,481
Contract type: Permanent
Start date: As soon as possible (upon receipt of satisfactory pre‑employment checks)
