Job summary

Haughey Recruitment is assisting a manufacturing company near Newtownabbey, Belfast to recruit a Logistics Coordinator. The role oversees the delivery of products across Ireland and involves order processing, invoicing, and liaising with production to ensure supplies.

You will schedule local deliveries, organise haulage for Ireland and the UK, handle cash receipts, and complete daily office tasks while meeting deadlines with proactive communication.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in a busy office processing sales orders and coordinating logistics.
• Excellent computer skills – email, excel, word.
• Ability to work to deadlines with a pro-active approach.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephones and taking customer orders.
• Accurately processing sales orders, raising despatch notes and invoicing.
• Weighbridge duties.
• Liaise with production facilities to ensure adequate supply of products.
• Scheduling of vehicles daily for local domestic deliveries.
• Organising haulage for wholesale deliveries across Ireland and the UK.
• Receipting cash/cheques from customers.
• Preparing daily lodgements to bank and recording in cash books.
• Dealing with enquiries effectively and completing daily, weekly and monthly office tasks.
