Job summary

Haughey Recruitment is seeking a Transport Coordinator for our client in Dungannon. The role involves daily liaison with the Transport Manager, Production and Dealer Support teams, handling paperwork, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth logistics processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Office-based with regular interaction with drivers and external freight partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport/logistics or administrative roles is essential.
• Familiarity with transport documentation and compliance is preferred.
• Strong IT skills, including data entry and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate transport records, update databases, and process delivery paperwork.
• Book and invoice all shipping; liaise with Transport Manager and teams for delivery timescales.
• Prepare export paperwork (EUR1 forms, certificates of origin, road permits).
• Coordinate drivers; build relationships with freight companies; be the main contact for freight queries.
• Handle phone, email, and admin tasks related to transport operations.
