Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Ipswich is hiring a Multi-Trade Operative to maintain properties across the East region. You will perform repairs on windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, and floors, and require basic plumbing and vinyl flooring experience.

You will work as part of a team and independently as needed, with a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 8:00-16:30). The role requires NVQ Level 2 in carpentry/electrical (or currently undertaking), with WRAS/G3 if plumbing is needed; plus full UK driving licence and PC

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in carpentry or electrical, or undertaking.
• Plumbing Level 3 with G3 certificate and WRAS if required.
• Experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Ability to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• LDV driving with full UK licence, and use of PDA.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, fault fixing and repairs per contract specs.
• Provide progress updates and accurate daily records.
• Respond to complaints and service disruptions promptly.
• Resolve issues and keep customers informed per processes.
• Maintain tools/equipment and manage stock per procedures.
