Job summary

Wessex Property Care in North Dorset is seeking an experienced Carpenter / Multi-Trade operative on a permanent basis to handle repairs, maintenance, and some project works.

You will perform first and second fix carpentry, tiling, painting, and basic plumbing, with duties including kitchen fitting, doors, flooring, and partitions. A valid UK driving licence and flexibility for travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the trade or NVQ
• Knowledge of Tiling, Basic Plumbing, Painting & Decorating
• Flexible working hours/Travel
• IT knowledge to use a handheld device
• Valid UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carpentry: first and second fix, kitchen fitting, internal/external doors, partitioning, flooring
• Basic plastering, tiling and painting
• Complete all jobs within the relevant time scales and participate in on-call rota
• Use all equipment safely, with appropriate PPE as required
• Floor & Wall tiling and tile grouting; general repairs
