Job summary

Axis CLC Group is recruiting a Multi-Trade Operative to join the Colchester team, providing responsive repairs and maintenance across MOD properties. You’ll work across tenanted homes using modern systems to deliver safe, comfortable living spaces.

Ideal candidates have plastering skills (NVQ2), driving licence, and fault-finding abilities; DBS and CSCS are desirable. Axis CLC promotes from within and offers extensive training and progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in plastering or equivalent is required.
• Experience in tenanted properties is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Asbestos Awareness certificate is desirable.
• CSCS card preferred; training can be provided.
• DBS check or willingness to undergo.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs to a high standard.
• Undertake plumbing repairs and minor installations (desirable).
• Complete carpentry works including repairs and basic joinery (desirable).
• Support general property maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and deliver lasting repairs.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Ensure safety, quality and customer service standards.
• Use PDA systems to receive and complete job information.
