Job summary

Get Set UK is recruiting an Employment Specialist to deliver Individual Placement and Support (IPS) within NHS teams, helping adults and young people with serious mental illness find and sustain paid employment. You will work in community settings, travel across Mid Essex, and build relationships with local employers.

You will receive full IPS training, supervision, and extensive benefits, including generous annual leave and pension contributions, plus wellbeing support and progression

Qualifications

• Experience providing one-to-one advice and guidance to adults or young adults.
• Ability to build trust and motivate people towards a practical outcome.
• Experience managing competing priorities and a caseload.
• Willingness to travel across Mid Essex and work in community settings.
• Experience working with health or NHS teams is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of people experiencing mental illness and provide individual advice and guidance.
• Develop vocational profiles and employment action plans with participants.
• Engage with local employers to identify opportunities and promote IPS support.
• Provide continued in-work support and assistance with CVs, applications and interviews.
