Job summary

Standguide is seeking an Employment Specialist to support people with mental health support needs in finding meaningful, sustainable employment across the UK. The role uses the IPS approach, placing each person’s interests and strengths at the centre of their journey into work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support in line with IPS principles.
• Build supportive relationships with clients.
• Help clients identify skills, interests and employment aspirations.
• Complete vocational profiles and agree personalised action plans.
• Support clients with job searches, CVs, applications and interview preparation.
• Identify suitable employment opportunities through tailored job searching.
• Develop relationships with employers and promote inclusive recruitment.
• Provide ongoing in-work support after employment is secured.
• Maintain accurate records and report client progress.
