Job summary

AKG is seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to support individuals in community treatment services by delivering high-quality employment support and regular 1-2-1 guidance. The role embeds employment within recovery and requires collaboration with the treatment team to ensure access to IPS employment opportunities.

Under supervision, you will manage a caseload of up to 25 people, work with employers to create pathways to paid work, and provide ongoing support to help clients maintain employment.

• Build relationships with local employers and training providers to secure opportunities.
• Provide job development and search activities tailored to each client.
• Offer ongoing support to help employees stay employed.
• Promote employment as part of the clinical team's recovery approach.
