Job summary

Change Grow Live in London is seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to manage a caseload within a structured treatment service for drug and/or alcohol use. You will promote IPS, build relationships with treatment staff, and help job seekers secure meaningful employment.

The role requires experience in employment placement, strong motivational and communication skills, and a compassionate approach. It offers a permanent contract, 37.5 hours weekly, Outer London Weighting and pro rata terms for

Qualifications

• Experience with IPS/individual placement support methods.
• Ability to manage a small caseload within a structured treatment setting.
• Strong motivational, communication, and active listening skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.
• Non-judgmental and empathetic approach to mental health support.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small caseload of service users in structured treatment.
• Deliver IPS training and contribute to service integration.
• Identify work skills, goals and create tailored job search plans.
• Assist with CVs, applications, interviews and career development.
• Develop In-Work Support Plans covering benefits and health guidance.
• Participate in weekly clinical team meetings and referrals to IPS service.
• Source job opportunities and liaise with employers for placements, including hidden roles.
• Provide ongoing post-employment support to ensure job sustainability.
