Job summary

The Forward Trust in Medway and Gravesham is seeking an Employment Specialist to support people with health conditions or disabilities into work. You will manage a caseload, create tailored action plans, and provide CV writing, job search and interview coaching in a collaborative community setting.

You’ll work across Medway and Gravesham, build employer relationships, and provide in-work coaching to ensure sustained employment for participants.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage a caseload of around 25 participants.
• Create Vocational Profiles and tailored Action Plans.
• Support with CV writing, job searching, applications, and interview preparation.
• Deliver one-to-one and group coaching to build confidence and employability skills.
• Help participants overcome barriers including benefits concerns and health disclosures.
• Connect participants with opportunities in the local labour market.

Responsibilities

• Identify participants’ skills, strengths and career aspirations.
• Develop and review Vocational Profiles and Action Plans.
• Provide CV support and job search assistance; prepare for interviews.
• Deliver coaching sessions to improve confidence and employability.
• Assist with overcoming barriers relating to benefits and health disclosures.
