Job summary

The Forward Trust in Thanet is seeking compassionate Employment Specialists to join Connect to Work. This full-time role (35 hours per week) helps people facing barriers to employment gain meaningful work and independence.

You will deliver CV writing, interview prep, coaching and group sessions, and build relationships with local employers while collaborating with community organisations to remove barriers.

Qualifications

• Experience in employability or recruitment.
• Experience in health, wellbeing or support services.
• Experience in adult learning or skills programmes.
• Coaching, mentoring or support work.

Responsibilities

• CV writing, job applications and interview preparation
• Career coaching, confidence building and job searching
• Delivering one-to-one and group support sessions
• Building relationships with local employers and identifying opportunities
• Supporting inclusive workplaces and reasonable adjustments
• Providing in-work support to help people sustain and progress in employment
• Working with community organisations, health services and training providers to remove barriers and enable joined-up support
