The Forward Trust in Thanet is seeking compassionate Employment Specialists to join our Connect to Work team. This full-time role working 35 hours per week, with part-time considered depending on business needs, offers the chance to help people overcome barriers to employment and move toward a better future.

You’ll support individuals facing mental health challenges, disabilities, and other life circumstances to find meaningful work and progress toward independence.

Qualifications

• CV writing, job applications and interview preparation
• Career coaching, confidence building and job searching
• Delivering one-to-one and group support sessions
• Building relationships with local employers and identifying opportunities
• Supporting inclusive workplaces and reasonable adjustments
• Providing in-work support to help people sustain employment

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload and provide personalised support across each participant's employment journey
• Working with community organisations, health services and training providers to remove barriers and create joined-up support
