The Forward Trust in Medway and Gravesham is seeking an Employment Specialist to support people into meaningful work. You will manage a caseload of around 25 participants, delivering personalised IPS-based support and coaching to build confidence and employability.

With full IPS training provided, you’ll identify skills and career goals, create vocational profiles and action plans, assist with CVs and interviews, and collaborate with local employers to open pathways to inclusive opportunities.

Competenze

• Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience or interest in IPS/employment support.
• Strong relationship-building and coaching skills.

Mansioni

• Manage a caseload of around 25 participants and provide personalised support from first meeting to sustain employment.
• Identify participants' skills, strengths, and career aspirations.
• Create Vocational Profiles and tailored Action Plans.
• Assist with CV writing, job searching, applications, and interview preparation.
• Deliver one-to-one and group coaching to build confidence and employability.
• Help participants overcome barriers including benefits concerns, health disclosures, or workplace adjustments.
• Connect participants with opportunities in the local labour market and build relationships with local employers.
• Identify opportunities in both the advertised and hidden job market and coordinate interviews.
• Promote inclusive recruitment and reasonable adjustments with employers.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, community organisations, training providers, and employers to provide holistic support.
• Provide in-work coaching and support after starting work to ensure long-term employment.
