Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering is seeking IPAF Ops/Semi Skilled Fitters & Mates for long-term contract work across Farnborough and surrounding sites. You will assist skilled engineers with installing fire sprinkler pipework, brackets from drawings, and operate scissor lifts and cherry pickers.

Candidates should have CSCS and IPAF 3a/3b, 2+ years of site install experience, and PPE including safety boots, helmet, vest, gloves. CIS basis pay applies with weekend premiums.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card & IPAF 3a/3b are required.
• Semi-skilled & mates should have 2+ years site install experience.
• Ideal candidates may hold pipefitting, plumbing quals or part quals.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled engineers/fitters with installation of fire sprinkler pipework.
• Operate mobile platforms (scissor lifts and cherry pickers).
• Support QC checks and pipe tests; keep work areas clean and tidy.

Number Required = 1 - 2 + each

Duties Semi Skilled & Mates = Assisting Skilled Engineers/Fitter with installation of

Fire Sprinkler Pipework, brackets from engineering drawings.

Operating Mobile Platforms Scissor Lifts & Cherry Pickers

Assisting with QC Checks & Pipe Tests

Keeping work areas clean & tidy.

Qual Certs & Safety Cards Required ? =

Must have current CSCS Card & IPAF 3a, 3b Card

Semi Skilled Mates = 2 + Years Site Install Experience

Hours = 0730 to 1700 45 to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required

Also might work 0730 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract Long Term 13 + to 26 + weeks

Pay Temp Contract Skilled = £26 + per Hr up to 60 Hrs Sat £31 per Hr Sun £35 per Hr CIS Basis

Depending on Skills/Quals Improver or Semi Skilled = £21 + Mates = £18 + Hr CIS Basis
