Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are seeking Electricians Improvers and Semi-Skilled/Mates with IPAF for installation, maintenance and site work in manufacturing environments.

Role involves installing cable trays, racking and cables, using mobile platforms to work at height, and assisting with checks, testing and reinstatement. Various shifts with 48–55+ hours weekly, including possible Saturday work.

Qualifications

• C&G or NVQ in electrical engineering with 17th/18th edition preferred.
• 2391 Testing experience preferred.
• ECS or CSCS card and IPAF MEWP certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical cable tray, racking and cables in Fab Shop and on site.
• Assist with installation, maintenance and testing of conveyors, process machinery and automation equipment.
• Work at height using MEWP, and support checks and reinstatement fitting work.

Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as a Employment Business on behalf of our Clients

We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar roles,

Electricians Improvers & Semi Skilled/Mates with IPAF

Working Install & Maintenance Work.

Installing electrical cable tray, racking, cables.

Using Mobile Platforms to work at height.

Working on the safe removal of electrical systems & .

larger items such as Conveyor Lines, Process Machinery, Palletiser Machines & Robot, Motor & Pump Units

Moving from work place areas to lay down areas.

Then assisting with completing checks and reinstatement fitting work.

Also semi skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set. Working mainly in the Fab Shop some workers may be asked to help out when really busy on installation work on factories/process plants.

Hours = 0700 to 1730 or to 1900 48 to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required

Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract 5 to 8 weeks & Contract Temp

Pay Temp Contract - Electrician Skilled = £27 per Hr Mon to Fri, £34 per Hr Sat, Improver/Skilled = £21 + per hr up to 60 hrs £26 + per hr Sat Depending on Skills/Quals Fork Ops £19 to £22 per hr and Semi Skilled Mates = £17 to £20 + hr & £21 to £24 per hr Sat

Travel Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site
