Fulcrum Engineering & Technical is recruiting for Fire Suppression/Sprinkler Pipe Fitters and Improvers/Semi Skilled & Mates in the Farnborough area. Roles involve fabricating and installing pipework to drawings, fitting fire suppression systems, and assisting skilled engineers on site.

Hourly rates vary by level: Skilled £26+, Improver £21+, Mates £18+ CIS, with shifts 7am–5pm and potential weekend work. Temp contracts range 13–26+ weeks across multiple sites. PPE and CSCS/IPAF required.

Qualificações

• Must have CSCS Card and IPAF 3a/3b.
• Skilled: C&G or NVQ Pipe Fitting or Sprinkler Fitting with 5 years experience.
• Semi Skilled/Mates: 2+ years site install experience.
• Ideally Pipe Fitting or Plumbing Certs or Part Cert.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate and install pipework to drawings or site runs.
• Install Fire Suppression/Sprinkler pipework and fittings.
• Check QC and pipe tests on completed work.
• Assist with installation duties and keep work areas clean.

Covering Farnborough, Guildford, Reading, Slough, London area Sites

We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar roles,

Job Title = Fire Suppression/Sprinkler Pipe Fitters & Improver/Semi Skilled & Mates

Number Required = 2 - 3 +

Duties Skilled Trades = Fabrication & installing new modified pipework to drawings or site run work.

• Working on 1/2 - 2 inch screwed & maypress pipework & 2 - 4 inch flanged & welded pipework.
• Then mainly working on installation & fitting of Fire Suppression/Sprinkler Systems
• Including fabricating & fitting pipework 6 - 12 mm with compression fittings then fitting of mist heads which will require hand pipe bending as required.
• Fitting flow meters, valves, supports,
• Checking completed work QC Checks & Pipework Tests

Duties Semi Skilled & Mates = Assisting Skilled Engineers/Fitter with installation of

• Fire Suppression/Sprinkler Pipework, brackets from engineering drawings.
• Operating Mobile Platforms Scissor Lifts & Cherry Pickers
• Assisting with QC Checks & Pipe Tests
• Keeping work areas clean & tidy.

Qual Certs & Safety Cards Required ?

• Must have current CSCS Card & IPAF 3a, 3b Card

Qualifications

• Skilled = C & G or NVQ Pipe Fitting or Sprinkler Fitting With 5 years skills/experience
• Semi Skilled Mates = 2 + Years Site Install Experience
• Ideally Pipe Fitting or Plumbing Qual Certs or Part Qual

Safety Wear PPE Required ?

• Clean Work Overall, Steel Safety Boots, Safety Helmet,
• High Visibility Vest, Work Gloves

Hand Tools Required ?

• Adjustable Spanners, Open & Ring Spanners 12 – 30 mm, Stilsons, Screw Driver
• 5M Tape Measure, Small Level, Note Book & Pencil

Hours = 0700 to 1700 45 to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required

Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract Long Term 13 + to 26 + weeks

Pay Temp Contract Skilled = £26 + per Hr up to 60 Hrs Sat £31 per Hr Sun £35 per Hr CIS Basis

Depending on Skills/Quals Improver or Semi Skilled = £21 + Mates = £18 + Hr CIS Basis
