Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering and Technical are seeking electricians improvers and semi-skilled staff for factory and process plant projects across the UK. You will install cable trays, racking and cabling, operate mobile platforms and assist with commissioning and reinstatement work.

Roles are temporary contracts of 5 to 8 weeks, with shifts from 07:00 to 17:30 or up to 19:00, Monday to Friday, and possible Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• C&G or NVQ Electrical Engineering with 17th/18th Ed, ideally 2391 testing.
• Experience with generators and turbines on industrial sites.
• Installation of mechanical systems, pipework and plant equipment.
• IPAF MEWP card and ECS/CSCS credentials preferred.
• Safety certifications CCNSG or EMSS Passport advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical cabling, trays and racking in factory environments.
• Work on conveyors, process machinery and robot systems.
• Assist with checks, commissioning and reinstatement fitting work.
• Move between work areas and support busy installation schedules.
• Lodge and travel costs may be paid depending on distance.

Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as a Employment Business on behalf of our Clients

We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar roles,

Electricians Improvers & Semi Skilled/Mates with IPAF

Working Install & Maintenance Work.

Installing electrical cable tray, racking, cables.

Using Mobile Platforms to work at height.

Working on the safe removal of electrical systems & .

larger items such as Conveyor Lines, Process Machinery, Palletiser Machines & Robot, Motor & Pump Units

Moving from work place areas to lay down areas.

Then assisting with completing checks and reinstatement fitting work.

Also semi skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set. Working mainly in the Fab Shop some workers may be asked to help out when really busy on installation work on factories/process plants.

Hours = 0700 to 1730 or to 1900 48 to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required

Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract 5 to 8 weeks & Contract Temp

Pay Temp Contract - Electrician Skilled = £27 per Hr Mon to Fri, £34 per Hr Sat, Improver/Skilled = £21 + per hr up to 60 hrs £26 + per hr Sat Depending on Skills/Quals Fork Ops £19 to £22 per hr and Semi Skilled Mates = £17 to £20 + hr & £21 to £24 per hr Sat

Travel Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site

Lodge Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site
