Balfour Beatty Asset & Technology Solutions is seeking a CCTV and Security Systems Engineer in Derby to support installation, maintenance and deployment of security solutions across UK sites. You will cover CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and door entry systems while travelling to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with IP CCTV systems and security technologies.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and commission CCTV systems to industry standards.
• Support deployment of temporary and rapid‑deployment CCTV systems.
• Install and maintain intruder alarms, access control and door entry systems.
• Ensure all work is safe, efficient and of high quality.
• Conduct equipment deliveries and collections as required.
• Complete risk assessments and safe working practices.
• Identify unsafe acts, near misses and report safety observations.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and customers across the business.
• Keep up to date with legislation, standards and new technologies.
