Job summary

Pelion is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to work with Account Executives, providing consultative and technical expertise throughout the sales process.

You will join opportunities requiring deeper discovery or technical input, translating customer challenges into Pelion solutions and ensuring what we propose is both commercially compelling and deliverable. Collaborate with Product, Engineering and SRE to support workshops, demos, POCs, proposals and RFPs.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering or consultative technology sales, ideally within telecoms, IoT, networking or connectivity.
• Strong consultative discovery and customer engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AEs on opportunities requiring technical or consultative support.
• Lead customer discovery to understand challenges, architecture and outcomes.
• Translate requirements into practical Pelion solutions and identify risks, dependencies and complexity.
