ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking an Investigator Payment Specialist to be fully sponsor-dedicated and embedded within a growing program near London. You will manage investigator payments, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely financial processing across trials.

The role requires 1–2 years in finance within pharma/clinical research, with strong Excel and ERP experience, and excellent communication to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in pharmaceutical or clinical research.
• Knowledge of Sunshine Act and FMV regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Working fully embedded within a growing program you will facilitate investigator payments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and review the financial aspects of clinical trials.

What You Will Do

You will take responsibility for pricing and investigator payments deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Processing investigator payments accurately and timely according to study protocols.
• Maintaining documentation and records related to investigator payments in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Discussing with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies and address inquiries from investigators.
• Assert the development and implementation of processes to streamline investigator payment procedures.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and analysis related to investigator payments.

Your Profile

You will bring relevant pricing and investigator payments experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to investigator payments (e.g., Sunshine Act, FMV).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
